Prioritizing Market Maker

Codex sequencer will prioritize cancellation transactions posted by the market marker to lower the spread of all stablecoin FX orders on chain.

  • Higher Priority: The sequencer will process the cancellation orders of market makers before any transactions from takers by introducing a priority queue.
  • Lower Spread: Prioritized cancellations provides market makers the confidence that they will not suffer from potential arbitrage and front running and thus be able to quote at a tighter spread.
  • Prioritizing Stablecoin Transactions: Standard stablecoin transfers are prioritized just below market maker cancellations to support fast and efficient FX and payment flows.
